Hey Beauties!
Established in 2020, DifferentLee Beauty Co. was born out of creativity, determination, and a little bit of faith. During the pandemic, I began creating press-on nails and handmade cuticle oil right from my mother’s kitchen and basement — turning what started as a hobby into something much bigger.
But the dream began long before then. Back in college, I fell in love with nail artistry after receiving a polygel kit as a Christmas gift in 2018. That small spark ignited something greater — the start of a vision that became DifferentLee Beauty Co. 💅🏾Today, what once lived in my mom’s basement has blossomed into a beautiful, independent nail suite, offering a personalized experience where clients can relax, unwind, and feel DifferentLee cared for.
My Story
My passion for nails started as a college hobby — a creative outlet that quickly grew into a calling. In 2021, I achieved two major milestones: earning my BSBA in Finance and my Nail Technician License in the same year. From doing nails in my mom’s basement, to setting up my first nail room in my condo, to now owning a professional suite — every step has been a part of the journey.
I’ve built DifferentLee Beauty Co. with love, consistency, and purpose — to create a space that’s more than just a nail appointment. It’s an experience, a vibe, and a reminder that beauty looks different on everyone… and that’s the point. 💅🏾💖
